Think about it, you press buttons all throughout the game, imagine the temptation....

What if it was programmed to cause a memory access violation?, to signify reality ending?, don't know how you'd do that though.

Actually this wouldn't be too hard to implement i'm sure.

Could be nice but it should be hidden pretty well and made pretty obvious that it can pretty much possibly do something horrible to the world.

How about this? Lets make it a nuclear explosion that will activate the hydrogen bombs and blow up the whole place (Basically at the end when you get through Gate B)., even though you have the omega and alpha warheads off. This should be found in Dr. L's room when the whole room is corroded by SCP-106's acid.

I lost weight just by running up and down the stairs...

I don't think that they are going to put a reality destroying button in a scientist's office(Even a joke), also the button destroys reality, so a few hydrogen bombs aren't powerful enough to destroy reality.

Was it ever known what the button did though? That's why they contained it, because they aren't quite sure of what the button does, right?

That's a good question, but I think the MAV idea would still stay true to the SCP.
