I expected 457's voice to sound more booming and less sluggish, like God's voice in the original "Ten Commandments". Though, that's just my two cents.

Also, effects were a *teeny* overwhelming, but that may not be a bad thing seeing as, well, he communicates via cracking fire and high-pressure.

I'd suggest making his voice sound more like an angry whisper or hissing sound. I think his voice is composed entirely of crackling fire so it would have no real tone or pitch. It's a fantastic first attempt though, so well done so far!

Hmm, it's a nice first start, but I imagined the voice a lot less 'dense' at it was, so to speak, it's hard to explain, but it seems more like an actual person speaking than high pressurized air hissing and producing syllables. Sorta imagined it more 'breathey'. It's a good start though, and I'd like to see what comes of the final product.
