Since the game is so heavily concentrated on what happens whenever you blink and you gotta keep watching the monster or else you die, I suggest a ductile sort of system, where if you hit a wall you will be notified with a red or other color sort of splash item in your hud, like when you get shot in shooter, but this being more subtle than whenever you get hit IN-GAME, is just and idea i got after the first 15 mins of gameplay so I don't know how does the game evolves.
