Multiple MTF Units

#1
*I wasn't sure if if was better to post of MTF thread, or create a new post*

When you think of MTF, you think of The Nine-Tail-Fox Division. But there are more units(I think) , like Cappa 42 from http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wp9b6ezF ... DD&index=1

What could happen if that it randomly chooses a unit, each of them would have a different approach on different things, different voices on radio, and different uniforms for each Unit.
Don't call it a comeback, I never left

There are quite many, I'm not sure that the nine tailed fox MTF is an actual task force that is mentioned anywhere on the foundation though.

edit*
You would think that the foundation would choose an MTF suiting for the task(in this case a containment breach), random ones wouldn't fit very well, but I guess it depends.
Some quick links for myself (and you all too).

Well of course I didn't didn't want all, maybe 3 different Units?
Edit: Maybe we can use these:

Mobile Task Force Alpha-2 (aka "The Mailmen"): Surveillance and containment during routine transportation of Safe and Euclid-class items between Foundation sites. (If added, heard on CH.4)

Mobile Task Force Beta-7 (aka "Maz Hatters"): Specialize in the containment of severe biological hazards and the subsequent sanitation of any affected areas. (Mabye if SCP-008 will be added)

Mobile Task Force Delta-5 (aka "Front Runners"): Assigned to track down and capture SCPs before rival organizations do. Currently tailing agents from the IRG. (Is this The Nine-Tail-Fox?)

Mobile Task Force Kappa-42 (aka "Lucky Seven"): Three missing, presumed dead. Two suicides. One terminated. (Rare chance of entering. 2 groups of 3, and one individual who helps you out, Angel.)

Before I continue, what site is the gameplay based off of?

The reason there's only one MTF group is because the Nine Tailed Fox was made specifically for the game.

I talked to Regalis about it for a bit, about what MTF unit should be in the game before 0.5 was going to released, and we both agreed upon a new group specific to the game, so no one would get annoyed with their writing being used incorrectly in their eyes, as the goal of the MTF group in this game is to clean up after the breach and recontain SCPs. The thing is, none of the MTF groups listed had that job. So we just came up with the Nine Tailed Fox division so there could be a bit more freedoms issued with its use.
It slep time bunner.

[Edit]
Dey see me scrollin, dey hating. I found this on the page.
SCP Wiki wrote:Armed Rapid Response Task Force Xi-13 (aka "Sequere Nos" ["Follow Us"]): Platoon-strength rapid response unit, tasked with responding quickly to dangerous and/or anomalous situations where the threat has not yet been identified but military-grade force is deemed likely, including but not limited to large scale containment and security breaches.

Also,
Mobile Task Force Chi-7 (aka "Spotlight Specialists"): Specialize in dealing with SCP objects which thrive in the absence of light.

The last one will be good when that one shadow SCP gets implemented.

Yeah, this one fits the description the best. What really bugs me in-game in the announcement intercom message:

"Mobile Task Force unit Nine-Tailed-Fox has entered the facility.."

'Nine-Tailed-Fox' -- why not just say they're MTF number to be more official? That's just they're little group name technically they came up with.

Now sound this one out in your head:
"Mobile Task Force unit XI-13 has entered the facility.."

It sounds much, much more official and correct. But I suppose it's okay to use NTF even if they aren't officially mentioned on the SCP wiki as to not anger any article authors. HOWEVER, it seems that Task Force Xi-13 is an open source MTF unit anyone may use in an scp entry/story. :?:

I agree 100% with what you just said. If every other MTF unit has official designated titles, Nine Tailed Fox should use their as well.
