The NVG actually used CopyRectStretch when it was first released, but that seemed way too unstable for certain people, so it was changed to the hacky sprite scaling method. I think CopyRectStretch is still being used for image resizing since that didn't seem to cause any issues.

I'd also like to emphasize that TheVolgun isn't to blame for the delay, so please stop harassing him about the update. We wouldn't have been able to release the update any sooner even if we had had the lines (without a few nasty game-breaking bugs at least).
