Re: Wiki

Concerning the mod: I guess even if my voice isn't up to par, we still have the edited lines up for grabs. If you guys don't think I'm the right VA for the guards, then you could always recite the lines I said myself and put them into the game. My main concern is to just have them changed.

Concerning the Wikia: Haha, why are you saying sorry for? Don't worry about it, as long as we have the in-game versions covered we're all set.
@WillWow_MC: Yeah, I've been adding information on the Wikia regarding in-game data. I've already got LTF-096 and LTF-173, but like I said, LTF-106 makes the screen blurry when she gets too close. I didn't think that effect would work at Gate A, but it did. It'd be better to just a screenshot of her model in whatever software you use.

I've listened to yours sounds and they are really great!
Spoiler
Much better than the newest SCPCB guard voices which were so bucking quiet!!
Also, about screens of 106... I'm pretty sure that I have some on some earlier pages of this forum page. If they don't suit it, I can send you the file or something. ;)

106 Model, Pony Guards.

Thank you! I agree with you definitely about the new SCPCB guard voices; while the voice acting isn't as stale (I for one love the one where they talk about tuna casserole) it is really quiet. I do believe I remember seeing some older 106 models back there, so I'll take a look; If I don't end up editing this message asking for the model, then it means I've found what I'm looking for. Again, thank you!

EDIT: I have no clue how far back it is, but I couldn't find it after about forty-five minutes of looking, so could you please send me a file? I'd prefer if it were over the Wikia, but through here is fine too. Also, looking back at the pages brought up the fact about pony guards...wasn't there supposed to be a balance of some sort? I thought the guards were meant to stay human? It seems like that was the plan until BAM, one day we got the models. I mean, hey, that was the old crew's idea and considering they aren't entirely with us anymore...I suppose we don't have to follow their agenda's anymore. I'm just confused. :\

WillWow_mc wrote:What do you need a picture of LTF-106 for? The signs? EDIT: I guess you are Meta Kirby on the Wiki, so I guess that is what you need the file for. I had it on the drive somewhere, allow me to find a link for you soon...

[I'm just going to re-announce (don't feel like I'm being rude or anything!), that with sign edits, could you leave the small pictures how they were? Because I already made them look more SCP-ish, but they somehow didn't get into the newest updates.
I'm going to do a sign now to combine some edits posted here with my picture edit.]

EDIT: Here is the newest version of the sign I was talking about.
Image
I just need to copy some of the stuff onto the other signs (LTF title, LTF before the number, etc., but not always the hooves and eye, because not all LTFs are sentient and violent)

Also, people should join the steam group and facebook group, if they are interesting in helping OR if they want to more easily monitor what is going on with the progress of the mod OR if they just want to chat about the mod.
Thanks for the reply. I apologize, I don't have internet very often so I don't get the chance to check the forums too much. So, would you like me to give you the rest of the edited signs? I had them all done when I made my first post(don't worry, I didn't edit the small pictures), however they all have the issue of not being aligned with the class. If you would like, I can edit them to align them, but I would have to post them later. Also, I took it a bit further and I edited the key cards as well(both the one in the inventory and the one you would find in the game world), they look like this:
Image
< Inventory.
Image
< Game world.

The issue with the ones for the inventory is, of course, that the "LTF" text looks... awkward. It being not correctly angled to perspective, you know. Anyway, I will check again as soon as I can, just tell me what you think.
P.S. I had an idea. If you would like, you could send me the edited images for each object, you know how you said they look more "SCP-ish", and I could edit them into the image while I align the text as well. Just let me know.

Mod Activity

#1457
Wow! You're working on the cards too? That's awesome! I think, though, that Willwow_MC has the signs covered.

Concerning the forum's activity, I'd suggest setting days when we should collaborate, or get together to post our changes/findings/updates/etc. Not all of us are online at the same time, and sometimes it takes days to get a response. I would like to suggest Friday or some day on the weekend; really, any day works with me. It isn't necessary, but I feel like it could greatly help production of the mod if we all set a few hours of a specific day aside for working on the mod together. What do you guys/gals think?

Thank you, I am glad you like them! If he does have them covered, that is completely fine, I am willing to assist him if need be.
Like I said, I'll try to check as often as I can, but I don't guarantee anything. At most, twice a week I could check. Usually on Saturdays or Sundays I can check, so I will try to be on then.
Best regards!

I too thought that it was part humans part ponies, but then I found out it wasn't supposed to be like that, so I made new ones! ;)

I should be able to give you a link to the drive which has the file on it. Check your private messages on this website soon, and you should find it in there.
I'm only doing it via PMs because if I do it on the wiki, some people could end up getting into the dev folders.

Now, onto the newer posts that appeared overnight:
Nice job with the cards! Only issue is that where the LTF letters have been added (added to the inventory ones) there is a small bit of orange poking up on the card, as the LTF isn't at the perfect angle, which you already know. Other than that, it's pretty nice! I can add the LTF logo (with the points coming out of the sides of the regular SCP logo) to the signs and cards soon, or I could show you how I add it to them.

Here is how I make SCP logos into LTF logos:
Spoiler
I used Paint .NET to do this, as the magic wand tool and layers are needed.
1: Use the magic wand tool to select the SCP logo and all colour inside it.
2: Cut that part out of the current layer.
3: Make a new layer and paste the cut logo onto it. You can probably turn off seeing this layer for now.
4: Make another layer between the logo layer and background layer.
5: Draw a white (or whatever colour the logo is) square on the new layer.
6: Select that square.
7: Rotate it 45 degrees so it is a diamond.
8: Line the diamond up with the logo (You can re-enable visibility on the logo layer now), so it only has points coming out of the top, bottom, left and right, and try to make sure it is symmetrical horizontally.
9: It is a good idea to save an un-flattened version of the image (For Paint .NET you save it as a .pdn file), so you can come back to it if something isn't perfect.
10: Now you can flatten the image and save it!
And there you have it! How to turn SCP logos into LTF logos as spoken by WillWow_mc. Get the DVD now from JB-HIFI and Dymocks stores! (joke)
It is probably possible to have a 'get together' time. For me it would be after I have had tea, as that is the time that SCP-CIM is usually on, and most people are getting up. I'm Australian, so... yeah.
I think that we should all join the steam group chat and use that, and possibly the steam voice chat.

Re: Mod Activity and LTF-895

#1460
About the guards; that would explain it. Like I said, the old group is essentially gone at this point so I suppose it doesn't entirely matter what's done with the mod.

What is the Steam group called, if you don't mind me asking? I want to guess that it's under the same name as the mod, but I'd like to be sure. I'm generally available most hours of the day every day so that should be good enough. I live in the U.S myself.

Also, comparing pictures between SCP-895 and LTF-895 shows that SCP-895 has considerably more creepier pictures than ours. So, I went ahead and lowered my sanity levels a bit by scouring for some more creepier pictures. The "doctored" images with "sound" added (as Paint.NET likes to call it) are simply called "Image 1, Image 2, Image 3" etc. The unedited photo's are labeled as "Image 1 NORM. Image 2 NORM. etc., in case you don't like my editing jobs. The unedited pictures are still their original size as well, so you can mess around with the image itself and modify what's displayed on the TV monitor. I've uploaded them to my Google Drive here;

If you scare easy, then you might be creeped out by a few of these, but for the most part I think these will do well to replace the ones we're using now.
