It's not easy to determine how close to finished it is, as we don't know how much editing is needed.
So far, basic interaction with SCPs and items is in progress.

Its not cancelled, but progress is really slow because there are few coders and we have other projects.

be easier to just build a new :REDACTED: of the game as :EXPUNGED: on a new :REDACTED: instead of going through the trouble of getting ye olde Blitz of 3d of the great castle of 2001 to bend to the new ropes and spaghetti code.

Jeeze.. what would multiplayer do to a game like this anyhow? Would it benefit? Would it make it LESS scary? How would respawn work? Balancing? Endings? AI? :087_2:

Not to scare you off of completing a great project like this though, just some thoughts..

Those :REDACTED: and :EXPUNGED: are used quite alot, you literally see them in every post! I like that :)

I really can't stand it when people say that multiplayer ruins the scare factor. For one thing, this is a mod. You don't HAVE to use it. Even if it was vanilla, you don't HAVE to play with friends. Is an OPTIONAL multiplayer really that much of a problem?
