Re: SCP The Breach[COOP]
#44Hey, I found this clip of SCP-106 "https://youtu.be/F-YJSsX-qNk?t=50m54s" and would love to see this behavior in this game. The entering and leaving his pocket dimension is horrifying with the rag doll physics. Then added with the standing still then jerking towards you when in agro. Maybe he could still go through walls, but he can't attack you on the same leap after leaving a wall or something so you don't get sent into his pocket dimension without warning.
Maybe something more dynamic, he smoothy walks like a normal person when not aggravated then only jerks when going after the player. When going after the player, he doesn't move through walls but can move through windows towards the player. Though, if SCP-106 is not actively chasing the said player, he returns to walking around normally and will wander through walls like what you see in SCP:CB.

#45Thanks for the clip, someday I'll publish a concept on my youtube channel how specific SCPs(106, 173, etc) will works in my game.Little Whispers wrote:Hey, I found this clip of SCP-106 "https://youtu.be/F-YJSsX-qNk?t=50m54s" and would love to see this behavior in this game. #46I have an suggestion.
When SCP-049 gets you and turns you into a zombie you should be able to attack other players.
When SCP-049 gets you and turns you into a zombie you should be able to attack other players.
Re: SCP The Breach[COOP]
#47That would kind of create a plot hole as 049 takes quite a long time to make a zombie and isn't always hostile.Scootis Pootis wrote:I have an suggestion.

I lead the SCP Auchenharvie Splinter.
Current Rank: Class C - Containment Specialist (Level 4).
Tester: Box of Horrors, SCP-CIM, N.T.F.
I develop the Future Horror Mod

So by that, we can assume 049 will try to touch one of the players and then try to kill the rest of players. If the players will run away from 049, he will back to victim and start dissecting him.[...]After contact with SCP-049’s hand(s), the victim (hereafter referred to as SCP-049-2) suffers [DATA EXPUNGED] and dies within moments. SCP-049 will then attempt to kill all humans it can see in a similar manner, supposedly to avoid interruption, before returning to SCP-049-2.[...]After approximately 20 minutes, SCP-049 will sew SCP-049-2 back up and become docile once more.
So probably we can be a SCP-049-2 and then kill, or even be forced to kill the other players.Scootis Pootis wrote:I have an suggestion.

But I'm still curious, what will happen if we forced SCP-042-2(infected player) to eat a SCP-500? Hm.[...]After a period of a few minutes, SCP-049-2 will resume vital signs and appears to reanimate. However, SCP-049-2 seems completely without higher brain functions, and will wander aimlessly until it encounters another living human. At that point, SCP-049-2's adrenaline and endorphin levels increase to approximately three-hundred (300) percent as it attempts to kill and ██████ any human beings it can find, before returning to its mindless state and wandering until it comes across more humans. At this stage, termination with extreme prejudice is allowed. Failure to enforce this protocol outside of testing scenarios (see addendum T-049-12) is punishable by termination.[...]
Re: SCP The Breach[COOP]
#49From that, if the zombies can't have a higher brain function, I don't think the player should be able to play as SCP-049-2. A player would be too powerful as an inelegance to animate an SCP-049-2. Unless for that matter, you make it so if you happen to be an SCP-049-2, you're very limited. For example:
You can not read any signs so they're something at random that's not understandable to the player.
You can't open doors but possibly brake down some doors.
Can't use any items yet all the items you had on you are still on you to possibly be collected in the future via another player or maybe an AI Class-D or some other AI to use against a player.
Can't comprehend computer monitors because it's just different colors on a 2D surface.
Can brake weaker glass.
And other very limiting aspects to throttle the powerful intelligence of a player.
Also, for the SCP-500, maybe you could handcuff an instance of SCP-049-2 so they're unable to attack, besides biting in reality but that should be easy to avoid so no need to implement that, then they could force feed SCP-049-2 SCP-500. If that's what you're planning for a cure.
