An "Ambitious" Idea

A few days ago, I just recieve my Ouya in the mail, and spent quite a lot of time setting it up for streaming games from my pc to the device, as well as playing a few games from the ouya library. I had quite a bit of fun with it (It was like being a kid with his N64 again :D), but I realized that th...

Re: a quick suggestion

Wow, I haven't been on here for so long, and I'm surprised to see all the chatter about this suggestion. I've been thinking about how some people would prefer not to have 1st person hands, so I think there should be an option to turn them off. That way, everyone can be happy ;) another note, is ther...

Re: a quick suggestion

Okay i'll start on that now, if i finish a draft soon i will post it somewhere. Also while were on the subject could you make some arm models for my game. If you can't that's find if you can i'll tell you the how they need to look ext. EDIT: Do you know any good animation systems cause this is not ...

Re: a quick suggestion
I like this How about when your shot in both legs, you should fall to the floor and have to drag yourself away.
I never intended for any animations to actually modify the game play's speed/style, just to add a bit of visual "flare" or to give the player a bigger punishment for failin...

Re: Quicktime events

Personally, I don't think Containment Breach is a game where quicktime events would fit. They are good in some horror games if used minimally, but in others they do not fit anywhere. though if containment breach did include some form of combat system, it would fit, but because the game is meant to m...

Re: 096, The Guards and The Monitor

I was re-reading the SCP-096 article on the SCP-wiki, and it said that it spends most of it's time pacing its cell. Maybe SCP-096, after the first encounter, should spend all of its time wandering around the facility, mumbling and either holding its head or just doing something with its hands (thoug...

Re: a quick suggestion

Wow, that was quick... anyway, another suggestions: to me, the game feels a little bit "Floaty". It's not the movement or anything, it's more the lack of SCP contact. I don't really feel like my neck is getting snapped by SCP-173 when he gets me, or that the grey man is dragging me to his pocket dim...

a quick suggestion

This is just a quick suggestion for more immersion: the addition of first person hands. The hands could reach out when in range of a button to press or an item to pick up. When putting on the gas mask, you could also see then putting it on the player's head. They would also touch a wall when crouchi...

Re: Improved intro

I have a quick idea (After playing the new intro from version 0.6.5), before the player enters the cell, the guard should have a quick soft moment, lean in, and whisper "never take your eyes off it and you'll be fine" or something like that, just to add another reminder to keep staring at SCP-173.
